The mission of Halozyme Grants, Donations and Sponsorship support is to advance the knowledge and understanding of pancreatic, lung,  gastric and breast cancer, as well as the associated biomarkers and tumor microenvironment. Halozyme also seeks to support Health Care Provider (HCP) and patient advocacy, policy and awareness efforts for these types of cancers. The program is open to qualified 501c(3) requesting organizations and will be considered based on the quality of the submission, impact to continuing medical education and/or impact to disease and patient awareness. Halozyme may receive benefits for support such as recognition or exhibit opportunities.

Continuing Medical Education must meet the current ACCME Guidelines for independence from influence, have clear learning objectives and appropriate planned budgets:

Requests for Grants, Donations and Sponsorship should include the following:

  • A summary description of the project or program to be funded.
  • A description of how the project or program will benefit patient care, knowledge or other public health objectives.
  • An itemized budget or other breakdown describing the proposed use of funds.
  • Current W-9.

CME Grant Requests must include:

  • A statement of independence from influence, with the grant recipient taking responsibility for selecting content, speakers, faculty, attendees and logistical elements of the educational program.

  • Requests should be submitted 60 days prior to your event. The Grants, Donations and Sponsorship Review Committee meets monthly and will respond to your request in a timely manner.
